Extrusion Technology has an important role in food industry. It has been fully recognized that Twin Screw Extruder Technology with cooking facility is of great advantage to the food manufacturers of Pet Food and Fish Processors.

We give Lab cooking TSE with intermeshing screws. The Lab TSEs are available in 25 mm and 30 mm screw sizes with Co- Counter rotating version. Our Lab TSE is advantageous as it gives constant flow rate and it has a capacity to adopt different raw materials and recipes to give pellets of regular size.

As the screws rotate, the mixture travels through the barrel. While travelling, it gets mixed, heated, compressed and simultaneously cooked. The heat is generated by friction and by external heating of barrel. A dough-like paste is formed and is extruded through respective dies. Control of Feeding in TSE is critical. Shear stress reduces particle size of ingredient (i.e. active component.) Division and recombination of the materials homogenize the complete product.TSEs are also used for falsification of rice.

The tank is fitted on MS stand provided with caster wheels for easy movements while attaching and detaching the attachment to the extruder.
Two of the four casters are with locks.
The tank is also provided with guide rolls.
Internal water connections are already provided to the vaccume pump and reservoir. You are required to give water supply and drain pipe.

Because of low cost, non- toxicity, biogradability and availability, the polysaccarides like starch are fast replacing synthetic polymers in plastics industries.

All the biodegradable polymer blends based on corn starch can be processed on our extruder with high dispersion and with any TPS/TPC ratios.

Screws and barrels are in high tensile alloy steel for longer life and fitted with variable speed drives for controlled operations. Tempratures are accurately controlled through PIDs.

Starch based films are brittle and hydrophilic. To overcome this, starch is generally mixed with various synthetic polymers.

Aasabi Catalyst extruders are engineered for Lab R & D and for continuous production. Pellets can be had in various forms as per specific requirements. Catalysts like alumina, gels and the like can be processed.

The extruders are user friendly for processing, cleaning and maintenance. specially designed auger and special abrasion and corrosion resistance steel is used for screw and barrel.
